Wayne W. Wertz, age 61, a lifelong resident of Arcadia, FL, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Ft. Myers, FL. Wayne was born July 16, 1950 in Arcadia, FL to the late Robert L. and Juanita Martin Wertz. He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, camping. He also enjoyed making model airplanes, building computers, and drawing. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are, his daughter, Jennifer (Leroy) Banks, Kingwood, TX, sisters, Dorothy J. (James) Westberry, and Faye (John) Christ both of Arcadia, FL, and three grandchildren, Tyler and Austin Banks, and Spencer Wertz, and several nieces and nephews. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Juanita Wertz, two sons, Billy and Joey Wertz and two brothers, Robert Bobby Wertz and Daryl Wertz. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Joshua Creek Cemetery with Chaplain James Chancy officiating. Burial will be in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
