Clarence Thomas Pelham Sr., age 67, of Arcadia, FL passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Arcadia, FL. He was born March 21, 1944 in Arcadia, FL. Clarence was a self employed truck driver and auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tinkering with his automobiles. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of North Hillsborough Baptist Church. Survivors are his beloved wife of 49 years, Diane B. Pelham, Arcadia, one son, Clarence Thomas Pelham, JR., Arcadia, FL, two daughters, Ellen (Randy) Lawrence, Okeechobee, FL, and Debbie (Phillip) Cobb, Wauchula, FL, four sisters, Betty Jean (Roy) Johnson, Zolfo Springs, FL, Evelyn (Frank) Vaughn, Ft. Meade, FL, Donnie (Jerry) Sutherland, TN, Debbie (Larry) Mitchum, Avon Park, FL, two brother-in-laws, Buddy (Virginia) Colson, Wauchula, FL, V. J. Creach, Bartow, FL, four grandchildren, Kelli (Joey) Santos, Tiffani (Adam) Gunter, Jamie and Summer Pelham, two great grandchildren, Arianna and Joey Santos. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00PM , January 29, 2012 at the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Ellis Cross and Reverend Matt Roberts officiating.
