Stephen J. Britko, age 94, passed away on September 10, 2012. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on October 8, 1917 to Julia (Pozniak) and Jacob Britko. Residing most of his life in Westford, MA. Prior to his residing in Arcadia, FL he lived in Deerfield Beach and Fort Myers. He served in the US Army during WWII and retired from the U.S. Government as a Quality Control Inspector. Stephen was of the Protestant faith and a Mason and a Shriner. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Upton of Arcadia, FL and his son, Stephen D. (Geralyn) Britko of Santa Fe, NM. Three grandchildren, Scott (Diane) Upton of Cape Coral, Nathan (Kristy) Britko of Maryland and Saralyn (Terry) Riddle of Texas. Two great grandchildren, Balin and Regan Upton and dear friend Terry Ogilby. He was preceded in death by his wife Luba and two brothers, Andrew and Victor. A private service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Pompano Beach, FL.
