Shelly Rayburn Waters Shelly Rayburn Waters, 70 passed away quietly at his home on March 17, 2012. He was born on 3/21/41 in East Palatka, FL and moved to Arcadia, FL in 1959 He was a member of the National Guard in Arcadia for23 years and reached the rank of Command Sergeant Major and retired in 1988 He worked at G. Pierce Wood in the recreation department for 40 years and retired in April 2001 Shelly dearly treasured with his wife, children and the heartbeats of his life, his grandchildren and great granddaughter, he also enjoyed friends, fishing/camping, traveling, staying on the farm in N. Florida and hearing or better yet TELLING a good joke! He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend and we all have our special memories to see us through. A private burial will be held at the National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL at a later date.
