Ruth M. Lyman, age 94, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born April 30, 1918 in Mc Mecken, W.VA. moving to Arcadia in 1996 from Kirtland, OH. Ruth was a member of Community of Christ Church of Kirtland and Willoughby Woman s Club. She was a graduate of Kirtland High School, Class of 1936 and attended the Cleveland Institute of Music. During her working career she was Clerk of Criminal Counts in Willoughby and retired from there in 1976. She is survived by one daughter Dianne M. ( Richard) Gebeau of Arcadia, Fl., one son Wade L. (Cathy) Lyman, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, four grandsons; David Gebeau, Michael (Erin) Gebeau, Kevin Lyman and Brian (Amy) Lyman; and three great-grandchildren Karsen, Taylor and Madalyn. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Wade L. Lyman, Sr., parents Fred and Marie Jepsen Ebeling, brothers Paul, Clyde and Herb Ebeling. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts to Community of Christ Church, Building Fund, 9017 Chillicothe Rd., Kirtland, HO 44094 Memorial services will be held at graveside at a later date.
