DeSoto- Roberta A. Craig Arrington, age 65, passed away, Monday, February 11, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Roberta was born June 24, 1947 in Miami, Fl, moving to Arcadia from Fort Lauderdale in 1977. Roberta was a broker and agent for an insurance company, retiring from the insurance industry. Roberta loved animals, especially horses. She was a licensed pilot who loved flying, and scuba diving. She enjoyed, traveling, shopping, and being with her family. Roberta was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her beloved husband, Bartley R. Arrington, Arcadia, FL, son, Robert Levine, Arcadia, FL, step sons; Bartley (Jane) Arrington and Nelson Arrington both of Arcadia, FL, and Derek (Rachael) Orlando, FL, one brother; Ted Gregory, Opalocka, AL, and two sisters; Kay Ferguson,of Broken Bow, OK and Bettie Cockrell,of Council Grove, KS, four step grandchildren, nine nieces and six nephews. Roberta is preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Robert and Allene Craig, brother, Billie Lou Gregory and sister, Judy Alls. A gathering to celebrate Roberta's life will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Friday, February 15, 2013, at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL.
