Robert Frederick Sadler, Sr., passed away August 17, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Robert was born August 11, 1933 in Milton, WV, moving to Arcadia, FL in 1976. Robert retired as a grove supervisor in the agriculture industry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. Robert especially enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Robert was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are his beloved wife of 53 years, Anna T. Sadler, Arcadia, FL, four sons; Robert F. (Cindy) Sadler, Jr., Emery Dale (Darlene) Sadler Sr., of Ft. Meyers, FL, Billy Joe( Laurie) Sadler, Sr., Spartanburg, SC.., and James Andrew Jimmie (Misty) Sadler, Lakeland, FL, two daughters; Tammy Teresa Perez, and Lillian May (Mark) Elam both of Arcadia, FL, one sister, Jean Lundsford, San Miguel, CA, eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Thelma Wilson Sadler and seven brothers and sisters, one grandson, Steven Elam and one great granddaughter, Zakiyan Luther. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:30PM, Monday, August 26, 2013 at the Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL with the U. S. Army rendering military honors.
