Ana P. Carrillo, age 28, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 in Port Charlotte, FL. Ana was born May 6, 1984 in Arcadia, FL. She graduated from DeSoto High School, Arcadia, FL, Class of 2003. Ana continued her education by earning a Bachelors Degree in Supervision and Management from Edison State College, Class of 2011. She was employed by DeSoto County, where she served as Deputy Clerk of the Court for the past nine years. Ana enjoyed watching HGTV (Home Gardening), couponing, fishing, and spending quality time with her family. She was a faithful member of St. Paul s Catholic Church. Ana never gave up on anything; she was determined to cross any obstacles to achieve a positive outcome. She was more than willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was very passionate about her job. Her life revolved around her beloved husband, family, and friends. Ana will always be our hero. Survivors are her beloved husband, Pedro Carrillo and her beloved pet Gizmo , North Port, FL, her father Miguel Ruiz, Arcadia, FL, three brothers, Mike Ruiz, Chano Ruiz, and Tommy Ruiz, all of Arcadia, FL,five sisters, Lili Ruiz, Michelina Ruiz, Lucy Ruiz, Juanita Ruiz, and Micaela Ruiz, all of Arcadia, FL, maternal grandmother, Marjorie Selkowitz, Arcadia, FL and paternal grandfather, Gumercindo Ruiz, in Mexico. Ana is preceded in death by her mother Camille S. Ruiz Visitation will be conducted from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, August 6, 2012 from Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL. A Rosary recital will be at 7:00PM on Monday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from St. Paul s Catholic Church, with Father Juan Lorenzo officiating.
