Minnie Lee Ford Carter, age 93, passed away February 29, 2012 in Jasper, FL. Minnie was born February 4, 1919 in Arcadia, FL to the late William Lee and Annie Rowan Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arcadia Church of God. She was dedicated to her family and to her Lord, and savior Jesus Christ Minnie is survived by two daughters, Betty Larry) Jennings, No. Carolina, Cheryl (David) Franklin, Jasper, FL, two sisters, Jimmie Albritton and Clyde Sims both of Arcadia, FL, five grandchildren, Karen (Bobby) Wiggins, Debbie (Dwayne) Darty, Becky (David) Israel, Darryl Franklin, Kristy (Travis) Williams, ten great grandchildren, Jason Franklin, Kandace Franklin, Kori Williams, Grace Williams, Aaron (Gina) Darty, Joshua (Katie) Darty, Justin Wiggins, Adam Wiggins, Megan Israel, Jordan Israel, and two great great grandchildren. Minnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward L. Carter and twin daughters. Visitation was held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 12:00PM until 1:00PM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00PM at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John Stamey officiating. Burial was in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
