Mary N. Sutphin, age 83, passed away Wednesday; March 21, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Mary was born in Charleston, WV on March 25, 1929, moving to Arcadia, Fl thirty one years ago from Cleveland, OH. Mary retired from Desoto County as the Veterans Service Director. She enjoyed shopping, watching John Wayne movies and Tiger Woods playing golf. Mary was a volunteer for the DeSoto Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the Arcadia First Presbyterian Church. Mary is survived by a son; Raeburn : Ray (Ellen) Sutphin, Arcadia, FL, two grandsons; David (Rachel) Sutphin , Orlando, FL and Daniel Sutphin, Gainsville, FL Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Tuesday, March 26, at Joshua Creek Cemetery, 2013 with Rev.
