Glen M. "Tiny" Anderson, 59, of Arcadia, Florida passed away October 26, 2012, in Punta Gorda, Florida. Tiny was born in Arcadia on October 8, 1953 and was a lifelong resident of DeSoto County. He graduated from DeSoto High and was a cowboy since first grade. Tiny worked for Turner Cattle Company for 18 years. He was also a "Bouncer" for the Reef & Beef, the Corral and the bowling alley. He led a good cowboy life and in 2001 was featured in Southern Living Magazine, representing the Dying Breed of the Florida Cowboy. Tiny was a humble man, a family man and a good friend. Tiny is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janice Anderson, of Arcadia, father, Kenneth Anderson, sons; John (Peggy) Lindsey, of Arcadia, Josh Anderson, of Arcadia, daughters; Rindi (James) Laport, of Arcadia, Talor Lindsey, of Texas, brother, Mike Anderson, of Ft. Myers, sister in law, Linda Anderson, of Wauchula, sisters; Lisa (Mickey) Strickland, of Limestone, Debbie (Cully) Hrabal, of Myakka City, Sharon Dyal, of Tennessee, Kelly Anderson, of Arcadia, 6 grandchildren, many neices, nephews, and his 2 kittens. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Anderson, brother, Rick Anderson, his old cat, Stretch and old dog, Blue.
