Desoto- Marietta A. Boehm, 87, of Arcadia, FL, passed away May 09, 2013. Marietta was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 14, 1925. She was a proud homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marietta enjoyed bowling, softball and golf. In her later years, she took up Wii Bowling and was unstoppable. She was an active and popular resident of the Arcadia Oaks Assisted Living Facility. Marietta is survived by her children; Lois (Lawrence) Sibai, of North Miami Beach, FL, Cathleen (Michael) Gaston, of Abingdon, VA, Nancy Benson, of Sylva, NC, Diane (Howard) Alter, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Joseph (Catalina) Boehm, of Lehigh Acres, FL, Christopher (Beatrice) Boehm, of Lehigh Acres, FL, Angela (Jesus) Hernandez, of Lakeland, FL, Peter (Melinda) Boehm, of Arcadia, FL, Thomas (Amy) Boehm, of Lehigh Acres, FL, James Boehm, of Lehigh Acres, FL, 26 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Elmer and Ada Belle Gallant, her husband of 60 years, Francis Boehm, sons; Russell and Matthew Boehm and daughter Penny Sleeman. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 N.W. 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172. Online condolences can be made at www.pongerkaysgray.com.
