Marie S. Murphy, age 84, passed away April 26, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Marie was born in Tampa, FL August 31, 1928. Marie lived most of her life in arcadia, Fl. She retired from G. Pearce Wood Memorial Hospital as a nurse s aid. Marie enjoyed ceramics, fishing, and cooking. She was a hard working woman who took pleasure in doing things well. Marie was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are her son, James E. (Fowler W.) Bellflower, Yorktown, VA, a daughter; Kathryn B. smith, Arcadia, FL; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death her husband, James Jimmie Murphy, parents, Marion Columbus Sam Stewart and Bessie Odel Floyd Stewart, and a brother, L. V. Stewart.
