Lucille S. Williams, age 96, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Lucille was born December 6, 1916 in Beckley, WV. She moved to Arcadia, Fl 20 years ago from Jackson, MI. She was a CNA and a homemaker. Lucille enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and socializing with her friends. She was a very faithful member of Arcadia First Baptist. Survivors are a daughter; Janie E. Watson, Arcadia, FL, two grandsons; Tim McGuire, Port Charlotte, FL and Michael McGuire of Arcadia, FL, and several nieces and nephews. Lucille is preceded in death by her beloved husband Troy E. Williams in 1976, her parents, T. F. and Maggie Smith, and eight brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, Monday, April 22, 2013 from the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
