Leona Fowler, age 90, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 in Port Charlotte, FL. Leona was born July 1, 1921 in Lake Park, Georgia to Tom Madison and Betty Elizabeth Senterfitt Westberry. She worked for Sun Bulb Company, Arcadia, FL as a packer. She enjoyed sewing, yard work, shopping, and most of all, reading God s Word The Holy Bible , and living God s Word. She was a member of the Nocatee Church of God. Leona is survived by her two daughters, Priscilla (Frank) Strickland, and Kay (Larry) Hill both of Arcadia, FL, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a sister, Gertrude Palmer, Arcadia, FL. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Isaac Eugene Smut Fowler, in 1992, her parents, Tom Madison and Betty Elizabeth Westberry. brothers, David Westberry, Levi Westberry, Amos Westberry, Thomas Westberry and sisters Lou Ellis Head and Evelyn Bellflower. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, Monday, March 5, 2012 Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM at the funeral home chapel with Reverend John Stamey officiating.
