Charles L. Milton, age 57, of Arcadia, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born June 14, 1955 in Thomaston, GA., moving to Arcadia 19 years ago from Newnan, GA. Charles was retired as a Firefighter and Paramedic for Coweta County, Ga. He was a pilot, who loved flying airplanes and a photographer who loved taking photos. Charles was devoted to his family and loved to spend quality time with his family. He was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church. Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Lee Ann Milton of Arcadia; son, Thomas J. TJ Milton, daughter, Julie A. Milton both of Arcadia; parents, Charlie F. and Ruth Moore Milton, brothers, Joseph A. Milton, Grantsville, GA, Jeffery L. (Carrie Ann) Milton of Hollywood, FLa, Richard K.(Lori) Milton, Panama City Beach, FL., and Daniel E. (Alice) Milton, Lexington, S.C., several aunts and umcles; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00PM until 8:00PM today Friday, August 17, 2012 from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home Chapel, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday August 18, 2012 from the Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Ellis Cross officiating. Burial will follow in Joshua Creek Cemetery.
