Naoma L. Bjorkgren, age 54, passed away May 10, 2012 in Arcadia, FL. She was born September 20, 1957 in Dayton, OH, moving to Charlotte County in 1982. She was a waitress in the restaurant industry. She enjoyed painting, reading, camping, gardening, and cooking. Naoma loved spending quality time with her family and dedicated time to help the homeless. She was a loving, caring, giving, energetic, and out going person who would drop anything to help someone in need. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Naoma will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Survivors are boyfriend of 21years, David Whyte, Port Charlotte, FL, one son, Mark Templeton, Port Charlotte, FL, two daughters, Jennifer Templeton and Naoma Jean Bjorkgren, both of Port Charlotte, FL, two brothers, Doug Hawn, Arcadia, FL, David Osborn, Cincinnati, OH, her father, Vernon Osborn, Arcadia, FL, one sister, Betty (Richard) Rotering, Arcadia, FL, and four grandchildren, Myles, Rayelle, Jannelle, and Colton. Memorial services will be held at Bayshore Park, 23157 Bayshore Rd., Port Charlotte, FL, at 5:00PM Sunday, May 20, 2012, with Pastor Frank Vargo officiating.
