Wanda Kay Browning, 65, of Arcadia, Florida passed away on September 14, 2013. Wanda was born in Cadiz, Kentucky on November 21, 1947 to the late: Kenneth and Martha Banister Hall. She moved to Arcadia, from Kentucky, twenty five years ago and worked for Bright Hour Ranch for twenty two years. Wanda enjoyed cooking, sewing, her many cats and playing piano. She had a heart of gold, a contagious smile and fought a courageous battle with her illness. Wanda was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandma and friend to many and will deeply be missed. Wanda is survived by her husband of 21 years, Zeb Browning, Jr., of Arcadia, FL, her "Sweet Pea" daughter, Sonya Shellhouse, of Punta Gorda, FL, stepsons; Justin Browning of Arcadia, FL, Jarrett Browning, of Fort Myers, FL, brother, Ken Hall of Kentucky, sister, Alice (Ken) Lunte, of Kentucky and grandson, Austin R. Browning. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18th from 12-1 pm at First Baptist Church of Arcadia. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Matt Clayton officiating. She will be laid to rest at Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery in Cadiz, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wanda Brown Trust Fund @ First State Bank of Arcadia for medical and final expenses.
