DeSoto- Jeffery D. Westberry, 58, lifelong resident of Arcadia, Florida passed away February 07, 2013. Jeffery served our country in the US Navy, during the Vietnam War era, on the USS Prairie. He was a member of the AmVets. Jeffery was a hard worker in the Citrus industry. He loved fishing, riding bikes, his dog, Patches, his family and his church, Oak Hill Baptist. Jeffery is survived by his mother, Evelyn Mickler, of Arcadia, brother, David (Barbara) Westberry, of Arcadia, half sister, Louise (Sonny) Harrison, of Bristol, Florida, stepsisters; Donna (Marvin) Daugherty, of Arcadia, Bonnie Harris, of Stevenville, Texas and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Westberry and half sister, Susan Mickler Moncrief. A graveside service will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Hal Upchurch officiating.
