Wilma J. Revell, age 93, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Wilma was born June 26, 1920 in Lansing, MI, moving to arcadia, FL in the early 1930 s. Wilma retired as a Certified Nurse s Assistant, from G. Pearce Wood Memorial Hospital. Upon her retirement, she began providing in home nursing care. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, sewing, and above all, she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She was devoted to her church and her Lord. She was a member of New Day Baptist Church, Arcadia, FL Survivors are her daughter; Frances L. (Francis) Howard, Arcadia, FL, brother; Robert Palmer, Arcadia, FL, two sisters; Pauline Barfield,and Janet (Red) Ballard, both of Arcadia, FL, six grand children , fifteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Wilma is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Revadee Raymond Revell, her parents; Charles William and Elizabeth Coggins Palmer, two brothers; George Palmer and Raymond Palmer, and a sister Esther Hinson. Visitation will be from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Monday evening, September 30, 2013 from the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00AM, Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the funeral home chapel with Reverend Ken Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
