Irene D. LaPorte. age 86, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012. Irene was born March 22, 1926, in New York City, NY. She moved to Arcadia 22 years ago from Texas. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors are two sons, Richard LaPorte Jr.,and Wayne LaPorte, three sisters, Edna Maggio, Antha Campbell, and Gertrude Ayres, four brothers, Charles Flood, Robert Flood, Howard Flood, and Edward Hoff, five daughter-in-laws, Sherrie LaPorte, Maryann LaPorte, granddaughters, Toni Ann LaPorte Little, Kathleen LaPorte, Catherine LaPorte.., grandsons, Wayne LaPorte, Robert LaPorte, step-grandson, Joseph Ewald, step-granddaughters. Shellie Leach, Jennifer Spinks, Korin McGovern, Maryann Cristain, niece, Louise (Fred) Dehler, and many more nieces and nephews and their children, great grandsons, Walter James Little, great granddaughter, Meara Leigh Little, step great grandson, Jason Morris and Jordan Morris Irene is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard LaPorte, Sr., brother Frederick Hoff, step-father, Edward Flood, her mother Margaret Flood, three sisters, Helen McGovern, Margaret Scalfone, and Marion Maher.
