Horace T. Hurst, Jr. age 45, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Arcadia, FL. Horace was born March 13, 1967 in Arcadia, FL. Horace was a logger in the lumber industry until his health began to fail him, forcing him to go on disability. He loved riding his bicycle, and spending quality time and talking with his family. His son Rusty Wayne was the light of his life. Horace was a member of Brownville Upper Room Church of God. Survivors are his son; Rusty Wayne Hurst, Arcadia, FL, his father , Horace T. and step mother (Mona) Hurst, SR, Arcadia, FL., his mother, Vivian and step father (Ronnie) Bishop, Arcadia, FL., two brothers Ray Baucom, Arcadia, Fl. and Dean McCaig, Milan, TN, four sisters, Angel Hurst, Carrie Alderman, and Tisha (Wesley) Coker all of Arcadia, FL and Jessica (Sam) Pearce, Okeechobee, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Horace was preceded in death by a brother James Jay Hurst. A Celebration of Life for Horace, will take place at the DeSoto Park, Arcadia, FL. at 11:00AM, Saturday, June 23, 2012.
