Gloria Dianne Telesca, aged 72, died peacefully on March 15, 2013 after a brief struggle with cancer. Dianne was born on August 21, 1940 in Miami. She grew up with her grandmother, Nells Crews, who taught her to love life, family, and friends. She graduated from Miami Jackson High School in 1958. Dianne married Jerry Walker and had two children; Cheryl and Glenn. She later married Francis Telesca and had two children; Gino and Tina. She was a dynamic mother who instilled a love of the outdoors in all of her children. Dianne was also a loving mom to a myriad of pets. Family and friends were Dianne s passion and delight. She loved to host and entertain and frequently held poker games at her home. She was an avid fisher who participated in many deep sea fishing tournaments throughout south Florida. Her favorite fishing destination was Bimini. She was a beloved patron of Gilbert s Resort in Key Largo, where she enjoyed relaxing with a Rumrunner among family and friends. Dianne loved life to the fullest. She readily shared her enthusiasm with everyone she met. Her warm smile and gregarious laugh will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Jules Beck. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. A memorial in Dianne s honor will be held at a later date.
