Franklin Gary Miller, Sr., age 54, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. He was born September 1, 1958 in Arcadia and was a lifetime resident. Gary was of the Baptist faith and a member of Brownville Baptist Church of Arcadia. Gary loved the outdoors and was a true cowboy . He devoted his life s to ranch work, his horses and enjoyed hunting. He was a member of the DeSoto County Sheriff s Posse and Arcadia Rodeo Assn. Gary attended DeSoto High School, Class of 1976 and belonged to the National Guard. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah S. Miller of Arcadia, FL., one son Franklin Pelo G. Miller, Jr. of Minot, ND and one daughter Candy L. (Randy) Rosine of Arcadia, Fl., two brothers Charles (Deborah Marie) Miller of Arcadia, FL.; William Billy (Ann) Miller of Hobart, OK; sister Beverly Herald of Valdosta, GA; nine grandchildren Chance Miller, Shana Rosine, Chloe Miller, Jaedon Romero, Emily Aiken, Addison Aiken, Hunner Aiken and Ayden Guera numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents William Marlin and Winnie Jean Cross Miller, brothers Terry A. Patton, Joseph Dale Patton and Bobby Miller. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Brownville Baptist Church, 7015 NE Cubit(old 17), Arcadia. Funeral services will be Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11:00AM at Brownville Baptist Church with Rev. Mathew Roberts and Rev. Wayne R. Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
