Frances Irene Manroe, age 91, passed away May 30, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Frances was born in Hornell, New York June 9, 1921, moving to Arcadia only 8 months ago from Andover, New York. Frances was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, shopping, and family gatherings. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Andover, New York. Survivors are her three children, son; Francis Charles (Koneta) Manroe, Canisteo, New York, two daughters,; Nancy Osgood, Arcadia, FL and Susan (Robert) Emery, Andover, New York, one sister; Rebecca Schweigart, Andover, New York, two sister-in-laws ; Rose Foster, Middleport, New York, and Kathy Foster, Andover, New York, six grand children, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grand children. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Bertha Bice Foster, a son and daughter in law, Elmer and Shirley Manroe, two sisters, Miriam Morton and Mildred Rose, and two great grandchildren. Memorial services will be at a later date in Andover, New York.
