Desoto- DeLoris Mae Cross Dunson, born on May 20, 1930 in Lagrange, Indiana to Jasper Newton and Helen Mae Teegarden Cross,went to be with her Lord on April 5, 2013. On August 1, 1982 she and her husband, Moses Dunson moved from Ovid, Michigan to Arcadia, Florida and attended the First Baptist Church of Arcadia since that time. DeLoris was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. DeLoris is survived by her sisters, Mary Louise Ruckle of Arcadia, Nellie Mae (Rick) Crider of Pensacola, Florida, 3 grand children, Candy Ann (Earl) Sims of Georgia, Joshua Newton Castle of Arcadia, Lynn Ann Castle of Arcadia, several great grand children and great, great grand children. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Moses Dunson, son, Sammy Newton Dunson, daughter Teressa Ann (Keith) Clements, and a brother Charley. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Arcadia, with Pastor Joe Yarbrough officiating.
