Maria del Carmen Medina, age 78, passed away August 25, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Maria was born March 16, 1935 in Laqunilla, Mexico. She had been coming to Arcadia seasonally since the early 1980 s. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul s Catholic Church, Arcadia, FL. Maria is survived by two sisters; Consuelo Cisneros and Alicia Medina. Maria also has many nieces and nephews left to mourn her passing. She is preceded in death by her parents; Federiko and Elvira Maldonado Medina, brothers; Jose Medina, Jesus Medina, two sisters; Teresa Medina, and Maria Medina. Visitation will be conducted from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Tuesday evening, August 27, 2013, at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, FL.
