Curtis Eugene Newberry, age 79, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Curtis was born July 4, 1933 in Bunker, Fl, presently known as Arcadia, FL. He was owner and operator of Newberry Well Drilling, Arcadia, FL, having passed his trade and the business on to his sons who continue to operate the business. Curtis was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was an active member of the Upper Room Church of God. Curtis loved his Lord and was a living testimony to anyone and everyone he met. Survivors are his beloved wife, Ruby Ann Newberry, Arcadia, FL, two sons; Curtis E. (Mary) Newberry, Ray (Peggy) Newberry both of Arcadia, FL, one daughter; Theda (Ronnie) Faulkner, Semmes, AL, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Marsdon and Vada Coffield Newberry and five brothers.
