DeSoto- Cheryl L. Aceto, 62, of Arcadia, Florida passed away November 5, 2012. Cheryl was born August 12, 1950 in Akron, Ohio and has resided in Arcadia for over 30 years. She retired from teaching as a math teacher at DeSoto Middle School after thirty years. Cheryl's passion in life was teaching children and caring for her six dogs. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many and will be deeply missed. Cheryl is survived by her mother, Patricia Aceto (Stanley) Bradner of Fort Myers, Florida, brother, Gary Aceto, of Niles, Ohio and nieces, Jennifer Auchter and Angela Aceto of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert E. Aceto. A memorial service celebrating Cheryl's life will be held at a later date.
