Obituary

Charles W. Dye, 79, of Fort Ogden, FL, passed away June 12, 2013. Charles was born April 9, 1934 in Orkney, Kentucky and has resided in Desoto County for more than 40 years. He was a carpenter by trade and in his time, quite the guitar player. Charles served in the U.S. Army. Charles is survived by his sons; Marty (Paula) Dye and Trent Dye, of Fort Ogden, FL, daughters; Kathy (Larry) McLenon and Brenda (Scott) Arrand, of Fort Ogden, FL, brother, Sam Dye, of Kentucky and sister, Betty Falany, of Kentucky, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Bert and Ratty Gayheart Dye. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m. at Fort Ogden Cemetery.
