Billie C. Bryant, age 91, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 in Arcadia, FL. Billie was born April 27, 1921 in Grand Ridge, FL. He moved to Arcadia, FL twenty five years ago. Billie worked in the sod industry for for more than 40 years as an equipment operator. He enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family. Billie was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Survivors are his four sons; Curtis Bryant, Port Charlotte, FL, Jay Bryant and Alvin Bryant, both of Arcadia FL, and Earl Bryant, Clewiston, FL, five daughters; Barbara Johannson, St. Augustine, FL, Vergi Jozwick and Wanda Gilmore both of Davie, FL, Patricia McDowell Tellico Plains, TN, and Carol Sairkowitz, St. Augustine, FL, one brother; Charles Bryant, Davie, FL and two sisters; Agnes Jeter, Panama city, FL and Geneva Welles, Plant City, FL, twenty two grand children, thirty great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, Saturday, March 16, 2013 from the chapel of the Adams Funeral Home, 18034 Main St. North, Blountstown, FL. (adamsfh.com).
