Beatrice Lucile Ewald Campbell, age 81, passed away quietly March 23, 2012. Bea was born April 16, 1930 in Caro, Michigan. She lived half of her life in Michigan, where she married and raised her family. She moved to Arcadia, FL in 1973, where she met her wonderful husband, Raymond Campbell of 17 years. They resided at Sunrise Mobile Home Park. Bea was a wonderful sister, wife, and mother. She worked at various factories in Michigan. She also was a caregiver, caring for others in their homes. She loved spending time with her family, bowling, playing cards, always bringing a hearty laugh and a cheerful smile to those around her. Bea was known for her gum ministry , where a stick of gum always accompanied her greeting cards. She was a member of Calvary Baptist church, Arcadia, FL. She also attended Pine Level Methodist with her husband. Bea is survived by her husband Raymond S. Campbell, a son, Fred (Renee ) Ewald, Eastpointe, MI, a daughter, Waiva (Joe) Durrance, Zolfo Springs, FL, a daughter, Margo (Terry) Leiter, Arcadia, FL, four grandchildren, Mathew (Esmeralda) Gaie, Summer Gaie, Joe Ewald, , Lucy (Didier) Ahouassou, and one precious great granddaughter, Anabelle Gaie. Bea is preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer A. Ewald, and a daughter, Marsha L. Ewald. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. at Calvary Baptist Church, Arcadia, FL. Funeral Services will be at 3:00PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Wilcoxen, Rev Roy Arms, and Rev. Brian Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
