Obituary

Delois "Dee" J. Foulk was born April 18, 1945 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Dallas B. and Olga Salyer Foulk. He passed away April 26, 2022 at his home in Arcadia, Florida.

He served as a U.S. Navy Seabee, building roads and bridges in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he moved to DeSoto County in the 1970's.

He enjoyed running heavy equipment and worked for Forsberg Construction for more than twenty-five years before his retirement.

Dee was a hard working and very kind man, who was always willing to help in any way he could. He loved all his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a car guy, and loved talking about classic cars.

He was the best Daddy, and he especially loved being a Papa! He loved all of his Grands and enjoyed bragging on them to everyone.

He is survived by his daughter Lynde (Gene) Bigsby. Grandchildren, Gene (Yorlenny) Bigsby, Brent (Savannah) Bigsby, Carrisa, Evie, Hannah, Bo Jubilee and Zeb Bigsby. Eight great grandchildren, all of Arcadia. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents. His former wife Lynette Johnson. A brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Ruth Ann Foulk. Brother Dallas Y. Foulk. Sister Judith Foulk. Step Mom Yolanda Foulk.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 3:00pm, at North Hillsborough Baptist Church located at 253 N. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Florida. Pastor Ellis Cross officiating.
