Delana "Nickie" Herrin, age 46, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Wauchula, Florida on December 22, 1978, to Herbert and Martha " Naomi" Herrin.

She lived in Wauchula her entire life. Delana worked for Sunrise Community with the Disabled where she received a certificate of appreciation for 3 years of dedicated service and got her GED.

She enjoyed fishing, sightseeing for wildlife with the family, spending time with her dog and eating at Popeye Fried Chicken and her family will always remember her as "Nickie".

She is Survived by her companion Johnnie L. Brown Sr. of Wauchula, Florida, children, Cassidy N. Brown of Wauchula, Fl and Johnnie L. Brown of Wauchula, Fl, sister; Ocie Edwards and brother; Bryant A. Herrin, several nieces and nephews and two great nieces.

She is preceded in death by twin sisters, Latrelle Herrin, Michelle Owen, Father Herbert (Buddy) Herrin.

The visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2025, at 2:00PM-3:00PM in the Chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home at 205 N. 9th Ave, Wauchula Fl Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM. The burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
