Dee Ann Conner, age 42, passed away April 6, 2011 in Port Charlotte, Fl. Dee was born August 13, 1968 in Bradenton, Fl and then moved to Arcadia as a small child. She was a case manager for the FL Department of Juvenile Justice until she had to resign due to her health. Dee loved horses and riding in the quadrille. She was secretary and past president for the All Florida Saddle Club. She also enjoyed fishing and doing outdoor activities. She was a graduate of Desoto County High School, class of 1987. She was a fifth generation Arcadian and was of the Christian faith. Family members are her husband William Bill Conner, Nocatee. FL, two sons: William Will and Elbert Bert Conner, Nocatee, FL, mother: Doris Provau Phillips, Sebring, FL, brother; George R. Morris, Miami, FL, maternal grandmother; Margie Provau, Nocatee. FL, one granddaughter; Lexie Lynn Conner, Nocatee, FL. two uncles; Mike (Pat) Provau, Noeatee, FL and Steve Morris, Bradenton, FL, two aunts; Deanna Dorvillier, New Hampshire and Myra Feeley, Gainesville FL, and nephew; George W. Morris, Leigh Acres, FL. Dee is preceded in death by her father George S. Morris. Family and friends will be joined from 1:00PM until 3:00PM, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, FL 34266.
