Robert Darrel Scott of Arcadia, Florida passed away on November 27, 2022.

Darrel was born on December 24, 1935 in Arcadia, Florida to James E. Scott and Ethel Mae White.

He lived in Gardner for 63 years, and he graduated from Desoto High School. Working in Auto Parts sales, he last worked at Fenders Auto Parts.

He loved fishing, hunting and carpentry and being with his family. His family will remember him as easy going, honest, loving and a hard-working man.

He is survived by three children, daughters Sharon (Everett) Addison from Lakeland, Florida, and Teresa (Gary) Myers from Ona, Florida and son Dale (Robin) Scott from Arcadia, Florida. Darrel had nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Eloise Scott, son Randy Scott, daughter Sheila Scott, brothers Melvin, Marvin, Charlie Scott, sisters Vivian Johnson, Valda Johnson and Eleanor Ford.

Visitation will be on December 3, 2022 from 9:00am – 10:00 am at Friendship Church in Zolfo Springs, Florida. Services will be at 10:00am. Reverend Stevie Griffin is officiating. The burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery.
