DeSoto~ Daniel E. "Dan" Stewart, Sr., 67, of Arcadia, Florida passed away at home, with his family by his side, on February 26, 2013. He was born February 10, 1946 in Wauchula, Florida and moved to Arcadia in 1986. Dan was a retired Journeyman Electrician and owner of Stewart Appliance Center of Arcadia. He was a member of the Church of God Arcadia. Dan was a loving husband, father and grandpa and will be deeply missed. Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Bonnie O'Bryan Stewart, of Arcadia, Florida, sons; Daniel Stewart, II of Big Spring, Texas, James (Casey) Stewart of Arcadia, Florida, stepsons; Dale Harned of Wauchula, Florida, Dennis (Darlene) Harned, of Zolfo Springs, Florida, Kenneth Harned, of Zachary, Louisiana, brother, David (Connie) Stewart, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida, sister, Sandra (Larry) Booth, of Ocala, Florida, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; D. Reid and Elon Brantley Stewart. Visiting hours will be Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6-8 pm at the Church of God Arcadia, 1423 NE Oak Street, Arcadia. Funeral Services will be held at the church on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11am, with Rev. Steve Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Joshua Creek Cemetery.
