Daniel Rodriguez – Lopez, Jr., age 17 passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in Arcadia, Florida. He was born July 30, 2005, in Arcadia, to his parents Stephanie Castro and Daniel Vila Rodriguez. Danny was known to his family and friends as "Danny Boi".

He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Daniel will be remembered as a loving, caring, silly, young man and would always light up a room.

He is survived by his mother, Stephanie Castro, Stepfather Pedro Castro, and his two sisters Illiana and Audriana Rodriguez – Lopez. Daniel also leaves behind his granny Annie Brown, his grandparents Jose Lopez, Betty Joe Moore, Crusita Rodriguez and Delia Garcia Guadalupe Castro. His aunts and uncles, Martha Lopez, Jose Lopez, Ingris Morales, Pedro Lopez, Iris Mcpeek and Diana Lopez, Mark Redden, Ruben Vila, Amy Vila, Jose Vila, Alejandro Vila, Luis Vila, Amie Vila, Georgina Vila, Felix Vila and Juan Castro, Matthew Garcia, Nohelia Noyola, Juliana Noyola, Emanuel Noyola, also his cousins Vanessa Hernandez, Ethan Redden, Anastasia Rios, Gaberilla Rios, Iris Rios and so many more.

He will be missed by his family and many friends as well as school classmates.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia, Florida.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2023, at 11:00am at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home,50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Burial will follow in Joshua Creek Cemetery, Arcadia.
