Daisy Mimi Mansfield Hutson, age 78, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the home of her brother Juril (Madelon) Mansfield. Daisy was born March 24, 1933 in Arcadia, FL to Barney Lee Mansfield and Charity Candacy Albritton. On October 24, 1948, she married Elton Leon Hutson, Sr. They had seven children; Elton Leon Hutson, Jr., Tony (Ellen) Hutson, Teter (Tammy) Hutson, Loren (Sandy) Hutson, Joyce (Timmy) Barnwell, Tara (Alex) Carranza, and Barney Hutson. She leaves one brother; Juril (Madelon) Mansfield, Arcadia, FL. Leon and Daisy were blessed with 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. They also had many nieces and nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Charity Mansfield, her spouse, Elton Leon Hutson, Sr., sisters; Annie (Otto) Lundquist, Annie Albritton Mansfield, Maebell (Bill) Albritton, and Mary (Sid) Nelson. Brothers; Sammie (Lillie) Mansfield, L. C. (Betty) Mansfield, Barney Plooge Mansfield, and Barney Lee Mansfield. Known to all who loved her as Mimi , she was a loving mother who greeted everyone with Hey Honey and a smile. She loved her family with all her heart and was very proud of all her children and each and every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mimi has touched everyone s heart with a spirit that will keep her in our hearts forever. Visitation will be 2:00PM until 3:00PM Sunday, October 30, 2011 at North Hillsborough Baptist Church, Arcadia, FL. Funeral services will be at 3:00PM at the church with Rev. Ellis Cross officiating.
