Curtis Osgood Johnson Jr., age 76 passed away Wednesday night, June 21, 2023, in Arcadia, Florida while under the care of Arcadia Hospice House.

Curtis was born March 4, 1947, to Curtis Osgood Johnson Sr., and Burndetta Whidden Johnson in Arcadia, Florida.

Curtis graduated from Desoto High School Class of 1965. Curtis was a Florist and loved gardening, raising many different breeds of birds, floral arranging, interior decorating, cooking and traveling. He also adored his dog and constant companion of over 14 years, Samantha, who preceded him in death by only a few weeks.

He is survived by his sister Cydney Doreen (Tommy) Quave of Arcadia, Florida, nephews, Jason Quave, Leewright Quave, and Ryan Quave, multiple grand-nieces and nephews, and his lifelong best friend Patricia Christ.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents Curtis Sr., and Burndetta Whidden Johnson.

There will be a private inurnment ceremony. Details will be released by the family at a later date.
