Connie Michelle Owen, age 54, passed away on Monday January 2, 2023 in Winter Haven, Florida.

Connie was born November 14, 1968 in Wauchula, Florida to Buddy and Martha Herrin. Connie was a lifelong resident of Hardee County. She graduated from Hardee County High School in 1987. She was a CNA and had a passion to help others.

Connie enjoyed traveling, drawing and spending time with her children and nieces and nephews. J.L. and Cassidy Brown, Joseph, Jacob, Tyler and Hannah Herrin.

Her family will remember her as a caring, loving, giving person. She is preceded in death by father Buddy Herrin, twin sister Bonnie Herrin. Connie is survived by her husband Michael Owens, her mother Naomi Herrin, two children: Savannah (Josh) Cardona. Daughter Courtney Taylor.

Connie is also survived by her beloved sister Delana 'Nickie"(Johnnie, Peanut) Brown, and brother Bryant Herrin. A special sister Ocie Edwards. One Grandchild, Mariella Cardona.

Visitation will be at held Wednesday, January, 11, 2023 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the chapel of Ponger- Kays -Grady Funeral Home, 205 N 9 ^th Ave Wauchula.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Wendell G. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery 804 Moffitt Road Zolfo Springs, Florida
