Clyde W. Lewis, age 98, passed away, October 5, 2011 in Arcadia, FL. Clyde was born May 20, 1913 in Jasper, FL. She moved to Arcadia seven years ago from Orlando, FL. Clyde was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are a son Beryl Junior (Nancy) Griffis, Jr., Arcadia, FL and a daughter Joyce (Calvin) Selby, Salisbury, Maryland, four step children, Jayne Davidow, Ron, Don, and Eddie Lewis, three grandchildren, Jeff Griffis, Mary Elizabeth Shariff, and Jimmy Selby, eight great grand children and several loving great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Dr. Aubrey J. Lewis in 2005, her parents, Glenn and Mamie Boone Willis, two brothers and five sisters. Visitation will be Sunday evening, 6:00PM until 8:00PM, October 9, 2011 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home chapel, 50 No. Hillsborough Avenue, Arcadia, Fl. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00PM, Monday, October 10, 2011 at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to donor s favorite charity.
