Clarice M. Culbreath, age 83, passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 in Arcadia, FL. She was born on May 20, 1927 in Fort Myers, FL. and moved to Arcadia with her family as a small child. Clarice was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family very much. She enjoyed reading and having gatherings at her home with family and friends. Clarice was of the protestant faith. She is survived by two sons; Ted Culbreath and Tom Culbreath both of Arcadia, FL., one brother; Joseph (Patricia) Hesters of Valdosta, GA, two grandchildren; Jessica Culbreath and Eric Culbreath, four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Herman T. Culbreath, her parents Sebron W. and Ruby L. Starling Hesters, five brothers and one sister. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, September 20, 2010 from 9:30AM until 11:00AM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 50 N. Hillsborough Ave., Arcadia. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00AM at the chapel with Rev. Jimmie Collins of the Church of God, Fort Ogden officiating. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Arcadia.
