Charlotte Rose Locke Wells, age 64, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 in Fort Pierce, Fl. She was born March 14, 1947 in Bowling Green, FL and lived until 1997. Rose then moved to Vero Beach, FL to be with family where she remained. She was of the Methodist Faith. Rose worked as a clerk for the Southland Corporation. She enjoyed crafts which included crocheting, latch hook and needle work. She is survived by a son, Robert C. Cotton of Lakeland, FL; mother Myrtle R. Clark of Vero Beach, FL.; three brothers Albert D. Clark of Vero Beach, FL., Kenneth A. (Teresa) Clark of Vienna, VA and David P. (Shawna) Clark of Ft. Pierce, FL., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her son ,James Thomas Froehlich and father John Maxwell Locke. A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the chapel of Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home, 404 W. Palmetto Street, Wauchula. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00PM at the chapel with Rev. Danielle Upton of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Bowling Green Cemetery.
