Charles L. Wolfe of Zolfo Springs, passed away Saturday December 17, 2022.

He was born December 24, 1945 in Findlay, Ohio to Ralph and Edna Wolfe.

He has been in the community for 65 years, graduating from Manatee High school. Charles was a Vietnam Veteran in the Air Force, and retired from FPL after 32 years of service.

Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather and avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife Julia Wolfe, his children Tamara Wingate (Gene) of Myakka City, Florida, Wade Wolfe (Lynn) of Bradenton, Florida, grandchildren Courtney Boyer (Morgan), Casey Wingate, Lauren Wolfe, Clay Wingate, Tanner Wolfe, and Great granddaughter Josey Boyer.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Ralph Jr., and Kenneth Wolfe, sister Eleanor Thompson.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Services will be at Sarasota Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 10:00 am, with Reverend Lynn Howell officiating. Burial with Honors by United States Air Force following the Services.

Memorial contributions (in Lieu of Flowers) may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
