It is with heartfelt remembrance that we honor the life of Cecil "Buddy" McClenithan who passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025  his 80th birthday.

Buddy was a lifelong resident of Desoto County where he was a ranch hand for Felton Garner / Doc's Horse Ranch and was married for 60 years to the love of his life Linda "Keller" McClenithan . They created a beautiful family together

Buddy enjoyed building model cars, wood work, yard work, and just tinkering around, but mostly aggravating his loved ones by giving them crazy nicknames and words of wisdom.

Buddy's most favorite pastime would be spending time with his family & friends. He never met a stranger and would offer you his last stick of gum.

Buddy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grand father, brother, uncle, and friend.

His hard working ethics kind strength, and wisdom left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Buddy is survived his wife, Linda Keller McClenithan, sister, Cynthia Dehay, four children, Sheila Grover, Larry( Peggy) McClenithan, Lorie(Mike) Maxson, Joey McClenithan four grandchildren, Tommy(Susie) Arrington, Wayne McClenthian, Lared  McClenithan and Jase McClenithan, Three great grandchildren Abbie, Tyler, Weston Arrington. 21 nieces and nephews and several great nieces /nephews.

Buddy is proceeded in death by his father, Cecil Laurence McClenithan, mother , Laura Elizabeth Keen McClenithan sister, Katherine Randal and Maxine Tuttle.

Buddy's legacy will live on through the countless lives he has touched and reminding us all to ask for "10 more minutes"

Buddy's celebration of life was held at his residence on May 3, 2025 by loved ones.
