Catherine Cathy Roberts, 75 of Arcadia, Florida passed away Friday, April 11, 2008. She was born September 17, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Arcadia in 1973 from Maryland. She was a member of St. Paul s Catholic Church and was very active in Church functions. Cathy enjoyed visiting with the sick and shut-in, she also loved her little dog Chazzie . Cathy could be seen each day aiding children across the highway as a school crossing guard. She was preceded in death by parents Wilmer and Julia Mansfield and her beloved husband Francis Bob Roberts, in 1999. Cathy is survived by one son Dawson L. Reed of Arcadia. Visitation will be 6-8PM Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home 50 N Hillsborough Ave. Services will be 10AM Thursday, April 17, 2008 at St Paul s Catholic Church.
