Carolyn (Polk) Skipper, age 89 passed away on October 24, 2022, at her residence in Zolfo Springs, Florida. She was born on November 6, 1932, to Cecil J. and Margaret Albritton Polk in Fort Green, Florida.

She grew up in Zolfo Springs and attended Hardee County High School. She was a homemaker and her biggest accomplishment was her family.

Carolyn Attended Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church.

Her interest and hobbies were antique hunting, as well as cooking and serving the Lord. She will be lovingly remembered by her family as the rock of the family.

She is survived by her children, JoAnn, and Noel Green of Roby Texas, and Margaret and Mark Dunaway, of Zolfo Springs, Florida; daughter-in-law Ninfa J. Skipper of Zolfo Springs, Florida sister, Etha Faye and Lloyd Granger of Mulberry, Florida. There are also four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as several loved nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Cecil J. and Margaret Polk, her husband Roland L. Skipper, Son James S. Skipper, baby sister Josephine Polk, and brother, James C Polk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crewsville Bethel Baptist building fund.
