Carolyn B. Hobbs, age 70, passed away October 5, 2011 in Atlantis, FL. Carolyn was born June 15, 1941 in Deland, FL. She was a resident of Greenacres, FL and a former resident of Arcadia prior to moving to Greenacres, FL. Carolyn was a great storyteller. She loved doing things with her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed shopping, watching the news on TV and taking care of her pets. Carolyn was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by two sons Terry Hobbs of Panama City, Kerry Hobbs of Hollywood, FL; two daughters Peggy (Sean) Jeffery of Jacksonville, Gloria (George) Saviolidis of Greenacres; one brother Vernon Sykes of Arcadia; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and June Baptiste. Graveside services were held at 3:00PM, Friday, October 9, 2011 at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
