Carol Ann Soucy, age 80, of Arcadia, Florida passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Arcadia.  Carol was born July 19, 1942, in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Arthur and Beulah Buzzell Daignault.

She moved to Desoto County, Florida in 2013 as a permanent resident, having been a winter visitor for several years.  She retired as a supervisor for a computer chip manufacturing company.

Carol served as Social Director for the Craig's Mobile Home Park, helping to keep the park residents informed and involved in the park's activities.  She loved playing cards doing arts and crafts, playing bingo, and visiting the casinos on occasions.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Edmond Soucy, Arcadia, Florida, one son, Edmond Arthur (Vickie) Soucy, Fayetteville, North Carolina and one son-in-law, Frederick Butler, Arcadia, Florida.  She also leaves to mourn her passing, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle Butler, one son John and her parents.

A "Celebration of Life" for Carol will take place at a later date.
